Job Description
What You Will Do:
Secure large group business by prospecting new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and aligning sales efforts with the hotel's business plan.
Represent the hotel at tradeshows, client events, and brand forums to grow visibility and strengthen key partnerships (travel required).
Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts that drive revenue, meet volume patterns, and support long-term success.
Stay active in industry organizations like MPI, PCMA, or ASAE to expand your network and uncover new opportunities.
Collaborate closely with operations and revenue teams to ensure client needs are clearly communicated and flawlessly executed.
Keep sales action plans and CRM systems up to date, using data and insights to stay one step ahead of market trends.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven Large Group Sales Success: 5+ years of experience selling large groups in full-service hotels shows you can handle the pressure and deliver results.
Goal Crusher: Prior sales responsibility of $2M+ demonstrates your ability to consistently hit targets.
Market Knowledge: Experience in the current market helps you hit the ground running.
Tech Fluency: Experience with Delphi.fdc or Marriott CI/TY ensures you can navigate our sales tools with ease.
Road Warrior: Willingness to travel ~25% of the time-because relationships are built face-to-face.
