This role is based in Fargo, North Dakota. While hybrid work options are available, this role will require you to live within the region surrounding the Microsoft Fargo campus.

Responsibilities

Designs and develops features with a focus on quality, usability, and performance

Participates in live site operations with emphasis on timely response, delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction

Collaborates across internal and external stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions

Implements automated testing and deployment pipelines to ensure reliable and scalable software delivery

Contributes to code reviews and technical discussions to maintain high engineering standards and foster team learning

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Computer Science or related technical discipline,

OR equivalent experience.

Proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented programming and design, algorithms, database concepts and performance, NoSQL technologies, and microservice architecture.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements arerequired for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:?

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

OR Master's Degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

Experience building cloud-based SaaS applications

Knowledge of microservices principles

Experience coding in X++, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
