Washington Navy Yard - $142,488 - $195200 Groton, CT - $140,509 - $195,200 Responsibilities You will serve as a Submarine Fly-By-Wire and Ship Control Systems Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the Submarine Fly-By-Wire and Ship Control Systems technical area in developing design and maintenance requirements for shipboard systems. You will support Submarine Fly-By-Wire and Ship Control Systems technical area in addressing design, operation, and maintenance questions for existing and new design shipboard Submarine Fly-By-Wire and Ship Control Systems. You will define architectures for Submarine Control Systems, which include: steering, diving, auxiliary, and other related systems. You will obtain fleet feedback on Submarine Fly-By-Wire and Ship Control Systems operation and maintenance and analyzing system performance. You will evaluate varied factors affecting system performance. You will develop electrical engineering guidelines for command headquarters and for field activities. The NH-04 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. This position has a control point; thus, the salary range may be capped at GS-15, step 05, which is equivalent to $187,312 (Groton) $189,950 (Washington Navy Yard).
