Our client, a leading toy and consumer products manufacturer, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join their team.

As a Product Development Engineer, you will be part of the Product Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams including Design, Project Management, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Product Development Engineer

Location: NY, East Aurora

Pay Range: $29 - $35 per hour

What's the Job?

Support the design and development of new products from concept through production.

Evaluate preliminary product concepts to ensure functionality, safety, and manufacturing feasibility.

Create digital and physical models to validate product performance.

Document product requirements and provide feedback to improve designs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize engineering processes and integrate new technologies.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

0-2 years of experience in consumer products, plastics, or mechanical design.

Knowledge of plastic part design, mechanisms, and injection molding processes.

Proficiency in 3D modeling (PTC Creo preferred).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
