As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a retail or mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to situations as they arise, and support access control measures. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, following all site-specific guidelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site procedures.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
