Job Title: Entry Level Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer who is familiar and proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior engineers to support our incoming projects, which include commercial, multi-family residential, multi-disciplinary, and retail ventures. Our project expertise spans stormwater design, land development, traffic engineering, and landscape architecture.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior engineers on various projects.

Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for project design and development.

Engage in stormwater design, land development, and traffic engineering.

Contribute to landscape architecture projects.

Prepare site plans and conduct grading and drainage assessments.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Internship experience in a Civil Engineering role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

EIT or PE License.

Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by an open workspace that encourages interaction between employees. The partners value feedback from employees and maintain a non-authoritarian approach. New employees are expected to be on site five days a week, with work hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break. The company promotes a team atmosphere with activities like attending Yankee games, team BBQs, and participating in a softball league.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodbury, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
