Description

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our team in Westbury, New York. This is a Contract position where you will play a key role in maintaining efficient office operations and delivering excellent service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, filing, and organizing documents.

Answer incoming calls professionally and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.

Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update records.

Act as the first point of contact by welcoming visitors and handling receptionist duties.

Coordinate office supplies and ensure resources are replenished as needed.

Support team members with correspondence, reports, and other administrative needs.

Assist in preparing and distributing meeting agendas, notes, and presentations.

Ensure compliance with office procedures and maintain a tidy work environment.

Collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.

Handle any additional tasks to support the operational goals of the office.

Requirements - Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.

Strong proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing phone systems.

Demonstrated ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in using office equipment and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Detail-oriented approach with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a plus. TalentMatch®
