Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This position is based in Sanford, Florida, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment while leveraging your expertise in invoice processing and purchase order workflows. Responsibilities:

Process high volumes of invoices with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely payments.

Utilize Stampli software to manage and track accounts payable workflows.

Oversee purchase order processes, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.

Maintain detailed records of transactions and ensure data integrity in accounting systems.

Apply industry-specific accounting practices, particularly within the construction sector.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities, as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all accounts payable operations.

Work with NetSuite and Microsoft Excel to generate reports and analyze financial data. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable with a focus on high-volume invoice processing.

Proficiency in Stampli software for managing AP workflows.

Strong knowledge of purchase order systems and workflows.

Familiarity with accounting practices in the construction industry.

Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial transactions.

Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors.
