Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Maitland, Florida. This role is critical in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in payroll, receivables, payables, and cash management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting principles and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Process and record payroll transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Manage retirement calculations and ensure remittance compliance.

Oversee organizational financial management, including maintaining HR files and handling employee onboarding and offboarding.

Post receivables and review payables for approval.

Review and record deposits from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy.

Monitor and manage cash flow, including initiating investment transfers.

Balance and maintain all trust fund accounts with precision.

Reconcile bank accounts and ensure proper documentation.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accurate records. Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.

Demonstrated experience with financial statement audits and account reconciliation.

Strong knowledge of journal entries and accounting principles.

Familiarity with Blackbaud software is highly desirable.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
