Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Supply Chain team has multiple positions open for Supply Base Management Specialists (Level 2, 3, or 4) to join our team in St. Louis, MO . Come join us and be a part of the future of Aerospace!
Position Responsibilities:
The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.
Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.
Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer's requirements.
Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs
Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies
Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs
Associate (Level 2)
Participates in managing supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
Gathers and reviews data for use in supplier performance evaluations
Identifies and communicates potential risks and issues
Provides support in the development of mitigation plans
Deploys operating authority to improve product delivery and quality performance
Supports the development and implementation of supplier project plans
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities
Develops mitigation plans
Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities
Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies
Senior (Level 4)
Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs
Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies
Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years' experience directly with Supplier or Supplier Management
1+ years' experience in a role that required Project Management skills
1+ years' experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
Experience managing subcontracted efforts and supplier performance throughout the life-cycle.

Travel expected to be less than 25%

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
Associate (Level 2): $74,700 - $87,150
MId-Level (Level 3): $93,600 - $109,200
Senior (Level 4): $108,900 - $127,050

Security Clearance
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
