Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. In this role, you will handle critical financial tasks such as processing invoices, managing payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounts payable who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Review and process invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Accurately code invoices and ensure proper documentation for financial records.

Manage check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.

Reconcile discrepancies in invoices and resolve any payment-related issues.

Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities.

Monitor payment schedules and address any delays or concerns.

Adhere to all accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

Proficiency in coding invoices and managing check runs.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.

Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation procedures.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.

Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant software tools.
