The Community Support Services (CSS) Southwest Mobile team provides services and requires frequent travel in the 24-county, southwest region of Minnesota. When a State-owned vehicle is not available, and an employee is required to use their personal automobile to conduct authorized State business, the employee will be reimbursed at the current Federal IRS mileage reimbursement rate.
The Clinical Social Work Consultant (CSCW) will have the opportunity to help people live better lives in their own home/family home, work with a variety of community providers, and work with a great Community Support Services team. This position provides advanced behavioral health services including assessment, clinical consultation, person-centered support recommendations and training for individuals referred to CSS. The individuals served have complex behavioral health challenges. In order to assist families, providers, and other professionals involved in the individuals' support network, the CSWC develops and provides individualized, multidisciplinary training and technical assistance. With each interaction, the CSWC strives to help care providers enhance their abilities to manage difficult behavioral and system issues; assist care providers to increase the stability of clinically complex individuals' community living; and divert revocations of provisional discharges when safely possible. Give the integrated nature of CSS work, the CSWC functions as a generalist and provides consultation as needed to colleagues with complementary expertise; the CSWC integrates multidisciplinary expertise to facilitate positive outcomes for clinically complex individuals.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Completing clinical assessments as needed to articulate appropriate community supports for individuals with complex behavioral health challenges and individuals' support networks.
Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to colleagues pursuing clinical supervision to facilitate colleagues attaining clinical licensure.
Providing support and/or crisis prevention & response plans to CSS clients and their supports promoting evidence-based practices, person-centered principles, and Positive Behavior Support methods.
Providing general consultation for case formulation, care coordination, and Clinical Guidance to parties involved, including individuals served, their families, service providers, counties, employers, and schools.
Identifying, developing, and presenting training to enhance community capacity to support individuals with complex behavioral health challenges with an emphasis on facilitating positive team outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications

Master's or doctorate in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related field;

Must hold current licensure in the State of Minnesota as an independent behavioral health professional as:
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

Familiarity with behavioral health and disability services and support resources.
Experience working with adults with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and/or behavior challenges in community-based settings.
Experience working with youth with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and/or behavior challenges in community-based settings.
Experience interpreting client data from providers and generating data collection systems to include tables, graphing, etc.
Experience with civil commitments.
