Robert Half Legal is partnering with a boutique civil litigation firm in search of a highly skilled Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. This opportunity offers a hybrid/remote-first work environment and is structured as a contract-to-hire position, with long-term growth potential for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence with courts and opposing counsel.

Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

Assist in case development by analyzing legal issues, developing case strategies, and maintaining case files.

Maintain effective client communication, provide legal advice, and address client needs promptly.

Collaborate with the firm's partners and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Monitor and meet deadlines for filings and ensure compliance with state and local court rules.

Stay current on legal developments and changes in the laws relevant to civil litigation practice.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the state bar (required).

Minimum of 2-3 years of civil litigation experience in a law firm setting, preferably within a boutique or similar environment.

Strong knowledge of civil procedure and local court rules.

Proven ability to handle all stages of litigation independently, including trial preparation and courtroom experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Tech-savvy with experience using legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis or Westlaw) and case management tools.

Ability to work efficiently in a remote or hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
