Position Title: Digital Marketing Communications Specialist

Reports To: Marketing Director

General Purpose:

The Digital Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for managing the social media platforms and communication channels in accordance with the Bank's brand and strategic direction. The Specialist will develop strategy, create content, and execute email campaigns, digital content efforts, and printed communications.

Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the Marketing Director, create the organization's Social Media and Communication Strategy, including growth, usage, customer experience, and adoption of new platforms.

Manage the content calendar and proactively uncover new opportunities for content creation and distribution that align with overall business and marketing objectives.

Create original media content, manage posts, and respond to followers.

Develop and manage an organic and paid social calendar that aligns with current business needs and long-range strategy.

Measure and report on the performance of social campaigns and post and adjust content based on findings.

Keep up to date with emerging digital media behavior, trends, and technologies; provide guidance for new tools and technologies as they emerge.

Manage and monitor online listings including Google, Yelp, etc.

Create relevant email content and subject lines that promote and build engagement with customers.

Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to write, edit, and proofread thought leadership content such as ad content, forms, white papers, flyers, press releases, and

Support for other marketing driven projects as needed.

Manage the marketing compliance process by submitting materials for review and maintaining approvals for future audits and exams.

Serve as primary user of the Bank's content management systems, maintaining web content, leads, documents, design, upgrades, and maintenance.

Analyze and report on the performance of the Bank's websites through Google Analytics.

Serve alongside the Marketing Director as the designated communications liaison for the media.

Process invoices and maintain expenses to be reviewed on a monthly basis.

Serve as primary user of Banno Marketing to create relevant ad content for online banking that promotes and builds engagement with customers.

Qualifications:

Education / Experience**

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Management is required.

Five or more years of marketing and/or digital communications experience required.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with employees at all levels of the organization.

Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Ability to accurately and efficiently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Must be technologically inclined, and well versed with social media and marketing strategies.

Must be extremely well organized and detail oriented.

Proficient with PC's and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Ability to analyze data to make strategic recommendations and decisions.

Strong teamwork with the ability to collaborate with third parties, stakeholders, and internal teams to meet company objectives.
