Job Title: Acquisition Analyst
Location: Huntsville, AL (On-site)

Duties:
Contracting professional with extensive experience managing various contract @types, including indefinite delivery, time and materials, blanket purchase agreements, and purchase orders. Provides oversight and guidance to government project teams and leads acquisition activities supporting multiple programs. Serves as a subject matter resource for IT hardware and software procurement and acts as a primary liaison for related business systems.
Perform contract closeout activities.
Review and analyze contract requirements, special provisions, and terms/conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate policies, and procedures.
Draft contractual instruments, including subcontracts and purchase orders.
Communicate contract policies and practices to internal business teams.
Ensure contract review, approval, and execution in accordance with Contracting Center guidelines.
Prepare correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation for timely and coordinated submission.
Maintain organized contract records and files documenting performance and compliance.
Assist contract professionals in resolving issues and managing developments related to assigned contracts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant work experience
Contract strategy development and management
Oversight of various contract @types and procurement methods
Pre-award and post-award processes
Contract administration and compliance with acquisition regulations
Market research and acquisition planning
Documentation and records management
Oversight of multiple funding sources
Cost analysis and milestone tracking
Management of high-value procurements
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Risk identification and mitigation
Requirement definition and clarification
Meeting facilitation and issue resolution
Process optimization and efficiency initiatives
Negotiation and agreement development
Timely execution of critical procurement actions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with contract and procurement systems
Desired Qualifications
Master's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience
Strong knowledge of government contracting principles and regulations
Contract administration and oversight expertise
Ability to serve effectively as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
Leadership and team management skills
Understanding of quality management systems (e.g., AS9100)
Proficiency in systems acquisition management processes
Knowledge of fiscal law and financial compliance
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement
Attention to detail and compliance monitoring
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Security Clearance: Secret clearance is required
