As an Electrical Superintendent at RQ Construction, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily supervision and preplanning of material and manpower needs for large-scale electrical construction projects at military bases. You will coordinate all electrical activities, assign crews, and manage subcontractors, ensuring that every task aligns with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. This position may require you to manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously, highlighting your ability to juggle various responsibilities effectively. Candidates must undergo a thorough background check for base access, making your experience with DOD projects crucial. Local candidates will be prioritized; however, flexibility for relocation to on-site management will be necessary for this vital role, ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality work in support of our commitment to excellence.

Would you be a great Electrical Superintendent ?

To excel as an Electrical Superintendent with RQ Construction, LLC, a high school diploma or GED is the minimum educational requirement, though courses in construction management or electrical trade school are highly preferred. You should bring at least five years of experience running electrical crews on projects with electrical scopes of $400,000 or more, ideally in commercial or industrial settings. Expertise in government, military, or large commercial construction is essential, with a preference for experience in the design-build industry.

Required Qualifications:

Five or more years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent managing electrical crews on projects of $400,000+ (commercial, industrial, or government/military projects).

Field or trade experience in electrical installation (government or large commercial construction preferred).

Prior experience working in the design-build industry is a plus.

Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety practices.

CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications (training can be provided).

High school diploma or GED required (preferably with coursework in construction management or electrical trade school).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Willingness to undergo an in-depth background check for access to military bases and government projects.
