ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - MENTAL HEALTH HEALTH SERVICES DIVISION - MONTANA STATE PRISON DEER LODGE, MT MISSION -Montana Department of Corrections is creating a safer Montana through Accountability, Rehabilitation and Empowerment. JOB OVERVIEW -This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the office operations for the Montana State Prison Health Services Mental Health Bureau. The incumbent manages the assigned workflow ensuring timely and accurate completion. Duties include performing administrative and secretarial duties with wide latitude for exercising discretion and judgment. Evaluating the Bureau functions to improve efficiency and increase productivity. Maintaining data logs in established software programs and produces statistical information upon request. Develops and maintains necessary filing system for Mental Health Bureau. Managing Division documents according to established office procedures and/or the state's Records Management system. Researching information needed to respond to correspondence when information is not readily available. Coordinating and scheduling meetings for Montana State Prison Mental Health Services Division. Other duties as assigned. The hourly rate of this position will increase by $1.00 per hour or 2.5%, whichever is greater, effective July 1, 2025 and July 1, 2026, in accordance with HB13. Pay increases for union positions are contingent upon a ratified collective bargaining agreement.
