The Team
The Director, Supply Chain Strategy & Functional Excellence is a critical leader within the Global Supply Chain Management ("SCM") function, advancing the company's evolution toward a center-led, performance-driven, and globally consistent supply chain organization. The Director establishes and executes long-range supply chain strategies, embedding functional best practices and ensuring data-driven decision-making through robust analytics, continuous improvement, and master data management.
The ideal candidate will bring deep global SCM planning experience, operations excellence, and cross-functional collaboration, ideally within infrastructure, real estate, or asset-intensive environments. The Director partners closely with global and regional SCM teams, sustainability and environmental, social and governance ("ESG") partners, and business stakeholders to align processes, improve spend visibility, enable strategic sourcing, and drive responsible and efficient supply chain outcomes worldwide.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
12+ years of progressive global supply chain management, planning, or transformation experience, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
Success leading SCM planning, master data governance, and functional excellence initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
Deep experience in developing supply chain strategies, spend analytics, and business intelligence frameworks.
Strong knowledge of sustainable procurement practices, supplier ESG evaluation, and Scope 3 emissions management.
Able to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence senior stakeholders across supply chain, operations, finance, and sustainability functions.
Experience working with digital supply chain systems, enterprise resource planning solutions, and analytics platforms to support process improvement and data quality.
Strong understanding of global compliance and regulatory SCM, ethics, and health, safety and environment standards.
Outstanding leadership, project management, and communication skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing global teams.
Fluency in English required; multilingual capabilities preferred.
Approximately 25-30% travel may be required to support the role's responsibilities.

Lead the development of the company's global supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market dynamics.
Establish and manage a global supply chain planning function, enabling data-driven decision-making, spend forecasting, and inventory optimization across regions.
Develop and implement functional excellence programs, ensuring global alignment in SCM policies, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics.
Own the continuous improvement roadmap for SCM process, data, and systems capabilities; drive initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiencies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on spend transparency, process automation, contract digitization, and sourcing cycle efficiency.
Define master data requirements and collaborate with the Business Enablement team to ensure robust data governance, quality standards, and ongoing data stewardship.
Provide strategic oversight for business intelligence, reporting, and spend analytics to optimize sourcing strategies and enhance transparency across categories.
Collaborate with internal functions (e.g., Legal, Finance, Operations) to lead global SCM programs and special initiatives across all spend categories.
Represent the SCM function in digital and analytics transformation projects, working closely with IT and Business Enablement teams to define requirements and maximize technology impact.
Manage global training programs and talent development initiatives to embed functional capabilities and a continuous improvement culture in the SCM organization.
Lead programs supporting regulatory, ethical, and policy compliance, including code of conduct enforcement, ESG criteria, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
Support the creation and institutionalization of global procurement policies and procedures, ensuring both are scalable and regionally adaptable.
Partner with the Sustainability team to drive decarbonization initiatives, including optimizing fuel and utility budgets.
Work with the sustainability team to create clear guidelines for reporting Scope 3 emissions in supply chain activities.
Promote the adoption of sustainable materials, responsible waste management programs, and supplier diversity governance across the global supplier base.
Partner with Sourcing & Vendor Management teams to oversee the selection, management, and evaluation of supply chain vendors using sustainability and ESG governance frameworks.
Drive the collection, curation, and submission of accurate data for supply chain sustainability reporting via the Enablon platform.
