The RF Head Value Stream has an opportunity for a 1st shift Production Supervisor to join the Microelectronics Operations Team. This position has responsibility for the manufacturing operation team in a fast paced, multi-shift, high mix/low volume environment that produces products using cutting edge technologies. The Production Supervisor ensures that all products meet contractual quality, cost, and schedule requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production while maintaining a safe work environment.

The position is responsible for the effective execution of the manufacturing operations strategy, using the available control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, assess production capacity, resolve quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans.

What You Will Do

Schedule and cost accountability.

Effectively manage day-to-day assignments for 20-25 represented employees.

Workload planning and forecasting.

Employee training and cross training.

Time and attendance tracking.

Safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Enforcing company policies and procedures.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of prior experience or an advanced degree and 3 years of prior experience.

Supervisory or leadership or manufacturing experience is required.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with microelectronics fabrication with the ability to operate within a clean room environment.

Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Previous leadership and management experience in manufacturing or similar environments with managing high mix/low volume manufacturing lines.

Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor, processes, and budgets.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
