The Manager of Data Operations leads a team that supports customer cases involving data integrations (inbound and outbound), custom reports, and FTP/SFTP-based file transfer workflows. This role ensures seamless and compliant data operations, especially related to financial exports such as AP, AR, and JE files. This role is critical in managing high-severity, time-sensitive issues and in driving process improvement through data insights and collaboration with adjacent technical and business teams.
This position is based in our Atlanta, GA office and is Monday through Thursday in office with the option to work remote on Friday.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team which includes a Technical Lead and additional Technical Support Specialists.
Oversee triage and resolution of support requests related to reporting and data integrations.
Act as an escalation point for Priority 1 incidents during and outside of business hours and more typical service escalations, assisting with customer-facing situations as required.
Collaborate with teams including Customer Success, Sales, Existing Customer Delivery, and Consulting Dev.
Monitor case trends and operational metrics using tools such as Salesforce, Pendo, and LogRocket.
Drive continuous improvement in processes and documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SQL Server, FTP protocols, and integration architecture.
Ensure compliance with internal SLAs and case handling best practices, as well as propose and monitor KPIs specific to data operations and specific technical case reduction strategies.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
5+ years of technical support or service operations experience, preferably in SaaS or data-focused roles.
2+ years managing technical support teams.
Familiarity with SQL, FTP/SFTP, and data integration workflows.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze trends and drive operational change.
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Pendo, LogRocket, and PagerDuty.
Understanding of financial data exports (AP, AR, GL, JE).
Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration tools.
