Customer Service Representative

Now Hiring in Waimea : Customer Service Representative for Patients/PBX Operator

Location: Waimea (Onsite only - Remote NOT available)

Pay Rate: $22/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Admissions of Patients (50%):

Conduct patient interviews to gather demographic and insurance information.

Verify insurance benefits and assist with Medicaid applications.

Ensure compliance with regulations and secure patient accounts.

Clerical Duties/Telephone Switchboard (50%):

Answer calls and assist Revenue Cycle staff.

Manage mail and greet visitors.

Handle payments and follow protocols during emergencies.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum two years in typing, clerical work, or cashiering.

Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of office practices, ability to make computations, proficiency in typing at 40 wpm, and operation of office equipment.

Working Conditions:

Ability to read printed material and hear conversational voice clearly.

Must be available for evening/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
