The Job You Will Perform:
The Account Executive is responsible for managing customer account daily activities and providing expertise in tactical decisions regarding domestic accounts. Account management includes direct shipments and consignment supply chain solutions in different transportation modes. The Account Executive role must balance customer needs with business objectives. This position is responsible for Service Excellence (right product, in the right place, at the right time) and Cost to Serve Initiatives (NPI's). This person is responsible for collaborating with members of the Business, Supply Chain and third-party vendors to develop and execute customer-specific account plans to improve efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities:
Order Management - Manage the completion of order entry, allocation management, and order to delivery monitoring. Responsible for Order to Cash process.
Customer Relationship - Serve as daily customer interface maintaining a strong working relationship with the customer to ensure customer commitments are met or exceeded.
Pricing - Understand and apply pricing policy and procedures. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
Forecasting - Provide forecast input for monthly demand planning processes and validate allocation.
Rebate Management - Monitor customer volume ongoing to insure within contract rebate guidelines, and prompt sales manager of foreseen exceptions.
Credit - Collaborate with Credit team to resolve credit issues during order management.
Initiatives - Select account initiatives and development as required by sales manager or customer account team and execute.
Service Level Execution - Understand customer needs and service expectations. Ensure clear, proactive and effective communication skills. Deliver high quality customer service to both internal and external customers. Facilitate continuous replenishment of inventory as required by each customer. Monitor shipments to ensure on time delivery and communicate delays accordantly.
Claims - Process claims in system.
Customer Analytics -Performcustomer analytics i.e.; cost to serve, profitability, etc.
Logistics - Act as liaison between customer and internal stakeholders to successfully execute against customer supply chain.
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
1 - 2 Years of customer related experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including cross cultural
Language Skills - English verbal and written required. Spanish verbal and written recommended but not required.
Exhibits strong customer focus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
General understanding of order management processing
Proficiency in SAP order management processing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong technical skills
Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Ability to work in a global environment with multinational team and customers.
Self- starter with the ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

About Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF):
Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products. Our high-quality, superior grade pulps form the basis for diverse applications, ranging from personal care items to specialty materials. We create components for diapers, tissues and feminine care products, as well as sustainable materials for the textile and construction industry. In 2024, IP announced a strategic review of options for the GCF business in keeping with its strategy of focusing on sustainable packaging solutions, which will allow GCF to fully unlock its capabilities to deliver enhanced service and product performance to its customers.
