Responsibilities
The Trained Medication Assistant is responsible for the provision of high quality care and services to RCF/Memory Care residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. The Trained Medication Assistant administers medications and treatments under the direct supervision of a nurse and performs Resident Assistant responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Successful completion of a state of Iowa approved training program and current certification in medication administration in state(s) in which he/she practices.
Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
