Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Business Analyst to join our team. In this critical role, you will support the end-to-end Order-to-Cash lifecycle, with a focus on key ERP functions including Inventory Management, Bill of Materials, Work in Progress (WIP), Discrete Manufacturing, Production Scheduling, and Warehouse Management (WM). Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations and broader digital initiatives. Location: Faribault, MN (Acorn Trail Location) What you will do: Works independently and able to support a direction or strategy of the manufacturing group. Responsible for business requirements collection from which applications can be developed or modified. Prepares documentation, presentations, and chairs meetings. Maintain awareness of business process and technology solution best practices within a specific business segment. Engages and may lead the business customers on business processes and practices associated with the digital systems that implement, support or enable those processes and practices Often leads collection and analysis of data and information from business users to understand how systems can solve business problems and identifies opportunities for process improvement Engage and may lead in collection and analysis of possible project engagements, documenting project scope (objectives, deliverables, critical success factors, assumptions, global and regional considerations, and resource requirements), prioritization, cost/benefit, potential risks, and feasibility Produces and may lead the definition and review of the content for user guides, training classes, and other end-user documentation for applications and processes May lead the development of functional test scripts representing business processes and the verification activities that ensure that solutions meet business required May lead testing activities with appropriate technical and customer personnel, to ensure that customer interests are represented in all testing stages Forges a network of beneficial relationships with all levels, including management, within digital organizations and the customers of digital in order to establish mutual trust and provide a foundation for high level project partnership. Initiates and develops working relationships with internal groups and outside contacts with frequent interaction as a key priority What's in it for you: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT or related or equivalent experience 3 - 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or corporate business environment Proficient in Oracle R12 or SAP S4/HANA Must be willing and able to work in an end-user environment, assisting and supporting end users Demonstrated ability to lead and administer business projects Experience gathering, clarifying, quantifying and documenting business project requirements Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $73,300 - $117,000 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
