Job Description:

Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as an UiPath/RPA Developer at GDIT. Here, you'll tailor cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of our clients. GDIT Technology Shared Services (TSS) is seeking an UiPath/RPA Developer who will be responsible for the development and administration of solutions for GDIT and customer-managed RPA environments. Daily activities will include designing & developing solutions within RPA tools sets (including UiPath & Microsoft Power Automate), assisting with the integration of other apps/tools with RPA tools sets (including UiPath & Microsoft Power Automate), system administration, report development, and testing of the product and its supported processes.

HOW AN UiPATH/RPA DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.

Collaborates with GDIT and customer personnel to identify business process needs and determine best automation solutions that save time and money, thereby allowing more personnel the freedom to do other value-adding activities.

Works with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products that provide insights to help drive the business.

Develops a strong understanding of the UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Platform and its functions to provide recommendations and guidance to support our customer's initiatives.

Provides best-in-class operations support for our automated workflows.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree (or equivalent experience)

Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience

Required Technical Skills:

Experience with UiPath (preferred), Automation Anywhere, or MS Power Automate.

Programming experience in languages such as Python, C#, JAVA, C++, et al.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle fundamentals & best practices.

Ability to identify and solve complex problems.

Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly.

Willingness to obtain UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.

Security Clearance Level: Must have an Active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to automated integrations with systems such as SQL and Oracle.

Exposure to Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and/or SAFe Agile

Location: Remote; candidates in DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) area or Bossier City, LA preferred.

The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

To encourage work/life balance, GDIT offers employees full flex work weeks where possible and a variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave. GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
