The Clinic is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Lander Medical Clinic and Western Family Care team! This individual will work 2 days with Family Medicine in our Riverton Clinic and 3 days with our Same Day Care team in our Lander. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Typical hours are Monday -- Friday, 8 am -- 5 pm with an occasional 4-hour shift on Saturday.

Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and treatment

Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures

Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

Experience:

Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred but not required

Skills:

Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices preferred

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff

Attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry

Ability to provide compassionate care to patients in a hospital or clinical setting
