Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Communicates with the Automation Control Center Operator regarding any obstructions that have occurred within the automation system. Demonstrates partnership and collaboration by working in a team environment to achieve team/work group objectives (for example, team KPI goals (fault duration, reject rate, damages)) while maintaining the cleanliness of all assigned work areas.
Counts, identifies, and verifies inbound and outbound freight by identifying the stock keeping units (SKUs) to be processed. Enters information into a user interface.
Manages freight flow by resolving faults/alarms in all assigned areas of automation. Maintains a continuous flow of freight within the automation system. Analyzes and uses system data to determine actions needed to resolve faults/alarms in a timely manner. Maneuvers damages/defective cases or pallets in designated areas, accessing narrow spaces as needed.
Ensures the automation equipment is operating properly by monitoring the flow of cases into the automation system. Tends to automated warehouse equipment through operating and fault correction (for example bot wrangling, tray alignment, etc.) Resolves freight flow issues as needed. Interacts and monitors the human modular interfaces of automated equipment. Alerts and assists maintenance associates on any unresolved jams or equipment faults. Follows and executes safety access procedures around automation equipment, including Lockout Tagout.
Monitors automation equipment as freight flows through the system, resolving any faults/alarms that may occur to ensure that conveyors flow continuously without delay. Identifies and troubleshoots any faults/alarms as needed. Clears faults in a timely manner to meet fault duration and fault rate production expectations
Performs automation checks of the equipment. Physically checks cell/area for large spills, debris, and cases for removal. Utilizes the defined process for damaged cases. Verifies and clears lines of product. Verifies that all conveyor sensors are operational, cleaning as needed. Checks mirrors and removes any debris from or around automated systems. Replenishes shrink wrap and printer labels.
Ensures automation flow areas are clear of any obstructions by entering the automation work areas to retrieve freight or automation equipment utilizing retrieval tools (for example, automation interface, ladders, pull hooks, mechanic/automotive creeper) while wearing proper PPE. Monitors the automation flow of freight in multiple locations. Completes fault correction and daily equipment care using climbing equipment, including harnesses, lanyards, and other safety equipment. Follow established safety protocol (for example, using personal protective equipment, following designated climbing procedures). Follows multipoint Lockout Tagout process, utilizing maintenance equipment or access control panels to isolate energy sources.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$26.50*

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

6 months experience in production, manufacturing, distribution, or related field OR 6 months as a Walmart Logistics' associate.
6 months experience in computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheet, word processing) OR 6 months experience in Walmart Logistics applications (for example, Global Logistics System (GLS), Trailer Manifest System (TMS), other related systems) OR 6 months experience in Non Walmart business applications.
