Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Power Platform Developer/Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise in Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate, with a strong focus on secure application architecture, system integration, and custom development. This role blends architectural leadership with active solution delivery and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, analysts, and developers.

Experience:

Possess a minimum of 15 years of overall IT experience spanning architecture, design, development and testing.

Power Platform Proficiency : At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse

Experience working with Power Apps Connectors : experience with integrating and connecting Power Apps with various data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint and SQL

Technical Proficiency :

Hands-on development experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and SharePoint online. Write and deploy custom components using JavaScript, C#, Power Platform Plugins, PCF controls, and custom APIs. Experience with React, Node.js or any other JavaScript framework would be a plus.

Security : Have a clear understanding of how role-based security is applied to Power Apps applications.

Certifications : Hold relevant Microsoft Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform. Must have PL-400 and PL-600 is preferred.

Presentation Skills : Proficiency in presenting technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

Agile Methodology : Strong familiarity with Agile methodology and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Team lead experience: demonstrated ability to lead a small team of 4 to 6 people. Mentor junior developers and establish coding, deployment, and ALM best practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub.

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
