Summary This position is located with the Divion of Information Technology. The purpose of this position is to provide information technical support to Indian Health Service, Urban, and Tribal facilities using the Resource Patient Management System (RPMS) clinical and administrative laboratory systems, the VistA Imaging (VI) Program, RPMS radiology application and the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The incumbent reports to the Supervisory I/T Specialist or designee. Develop and deliver training for assigned clinical applications. Serve as a Level 1 Contract Officer Representative (COR) responsible for contract management of laboratory and radiology RPMS health information technology systems. Plan, monitor and maintain contracts/task orders, files, documentation and payments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS GS-12: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following @type of work and/or tasks: Oversee single and multi-year contracts/task orders for a wide range of contract @types and services, including but not limited to: Purchase Orders, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), SF-182 training forms, and credit card purchases. Facilitate implementation and clinical usage of the Resource Patient Management System (RPMS) Imaging Orders, VistA Imaging Interface, ISI Rad/Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) support, RPMS Laboratory Package, Electronic Health Record (EHR) Laboratory Orders, and Reference Lab Interface. Prepare documents to establish new contracts, task orders and existing awards as a Contracting Officer Representative. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
