DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker, you will provide manual work in the construction and maintenance of Ryerson Station State Park. You will perform maintenance work alone or with the assistance of a skilled worker. Your duties will include making repairs to buildings and facilities, assisting in the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment, and building simple forms for cement work. You can expect to maintain the grounds by mowing, cutting weeds, moving materials into dump trucks, and planting trees and shrubs. Additionally, you will be responsible for general housekeeping at the park including cleaning and supplying bathrooms, disposing of trash, and making minor repairs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Seasonal full-time employment with no benefits, 37.5 hours weekly The season runs from approximately March 2025 until November 2025 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2026. Work hours and days will vary, including weekends and holidays. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction;or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
