Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Proctor to oversee testing sessions for a special project in Concord, California. This is a Contract position requiring someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in both quiet and busy environments. Ideal candidates will be flexible with scheduling and comfortable sitting for extended periods while ensuring the integrity of the testing process.

Responsibilities:

Supervise testing sessions to ensure a smooth and secure examination process.

Provide clear explanations and clarification of test questions as needed.

Monitor test-takers and enforce rules to maintain a fair testing environment.

Utilize Chromebooks and other tools to facilitate administrative tasks during testing.

Document and report any discrepancies or issues that arise during the testing sessions.

Offer verbal instructions to guide candidates through the testing procedures.

Perform guided reading tasks to assist test-takers where required.

Work independently with minimal onsite supervision and resolve any challenges effectively.

Adapt to varying schedules and durations of testing sessions based on project needs. Requirements - Proven experience in customer service or administrative assistance.

Proficiency with basic office tools and technology, including Chromebooks.

Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.

Ability to provide clear verbal instructions and guided reading support.

Comfortable sitting for long periods in diverse testing environments.

Flexibility to work varying hours depending on project demands.

Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills to work independently.
