What you'll do
Our 10-week paid internship will provide you with the foundation to become a financial market specialist while working in a dynamic and supportive team environment. You will receive accelerated learning and skill development through a mix of on-the-job training, mentorship, a community of peers and advisors, and a pathway to our full-time Capital Markets Development Program upon graduation.
Structured Credit Role:
US Bancorp's Structured Credit group specializes in the origination, structuring and syndication of Asset Backed Securities, Asset Backed Loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations, and Subscription Finance Facilities for commercial and corporate clients across a variety of industries. Transactions are used to assist clients with liquidity and funding needs.
As aStructured Credit Intern, you will:
Create transaction and pitchbook materials, including lender presentations, information memorandums, and comparable transaction analyses
Help conduct historical loss analysis for lending facilities
Research and identify key terms and conditions of recent market transactions
Develop technical and business acumen through training, mentorship, and exposure to senior executives
Build a supportive community of peers through a variety of cohort strengthening activities such as social events, development workshops, and catered insight to support your transition from college to the workforce
Who we're looking for

Basic qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, or a related field with a target graduation of December 2026 or spring 2027
Ability to start the internship program in June 8, 2026
Preferred qualifications:
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Demonstrates an interest in capital markets
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn and contribute within a dynamic team environment
Well-developed analytical skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $28.27 - $37.69
