Job Title: Warehouse Customer Service

Location: Parlin, NJ

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $22 - $24 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Warehouse Customer Service Rep Responsibilities:

This company distributes industrial replacement parts. These parts are customize rubber conveyor belts, straps and harnesses used on industrial machinery and equipment.

Works equally in the warehouse or office setting

Answers calls from other business customers

Helps prepare customer orders by preparing product for shipment, installing clasps, cutting material to proper size

Uses power tools and hand tools. May operate forklift

Helps file, copy, scan and helps prepare/create digital files & documents such as customer orders or invoicing (will be reviewed by coworker)

Assists with entering data into computerized ERP system

Helps process online orders

Greets customers who enter shop

Works closely with Office Manager to complete customer orders, set-up billing, etc.

Provide customer support by troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Perform administrative tasks, as needed.

Warehouse Customer Service Rep Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required, some college coursework or other related post-high school training preferred

Customer service skills - strong phone and in person communication ability

Must be able and comfortable working in the warehouse or office.

Experience using power and hand tools desirable

Go getter, team player. Willing to learn business and assist professionally

Strong working computer skills & knowledge including Database management and MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
