The Manufacturing Engineer (ME) hired for this entry-level position will learn the ME role in the Waste & Water Systems business unit of Collins Aerospace. In this role you will be exposed to various ME skills sets and be given the opportunity to eventually choose a specialty in Industrialization of new products, process improvement, CNC Programming, Tooling, and similar ME skills. This role may be eligible for relocation and may have travel expectations of up to 10%.
What you will do under the guidance of several mentors
Create Production Orders and Routings in SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing)
Provide Harmonized Trade System Classifications to parts and materials.
Review Engineering drawings and changes and their impact to existing inventory and production plans.
Provide work and rework instructions to production.
Order materials and tools to support production.
Build tools, test fixtures and other sundry equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefer
Hands-on production experience OR technical degree
Basic understanding of engineering drawings
Experience in aerospace
SAP
Lean manufacturing experience
Willingness to learn and a desire to contribute

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 118,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
