Description

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to oversee product testing and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. This role involves identifying and resolving technical issues, developing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance. This is a Long-term Contract position based in Lynnwood, WA.

Operate and maintain HALT/HASS chambers and related test equipment.

Develop and execute test plans and procedures based on product requirements and reliability goals.

Design and document test cases to simulate real-world and accelerated stress conditions.

Analyze test data, identify failure modes, and provide recommendations for design improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and manufacturing to resolve issues.

Prepare detailed test reports and present findings to engineering and management teams.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in reliability or environmental testing, with direct HALT/HASS experience.

Strong understanding of test methodologies, failure analysis, and root cause investigation.

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, JMP).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

-Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with thermal, vibration, and combined environmental stress testing.

Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., MIL-STD, IEC, ISO).

Knowledge of reliability prediction tools and techniques (e.g., FMEA, Weibull analysis).
