HOW A COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Conducting the daily operations for communications maintenance to include planning preventative maintenance, diagnosing the need for and coordinating corrective maintenance, and producing detailed documentation of maintenance actions.

Performing systems integration, maintenance, configuration, and modification to a family of automatic procession equipment, including printers, computers, scanners, faxes, routers, switches, etc.

Coordinating and conducting baseline configuration, updates, patches, troubleshooting, and repairs for all data and voice equipment to include generating schedules for preventative maintenance of the same.

Providing on-the-job training and guidance to assigned military servicemembers in both the maintenance of equipment and the generation of accurate maintenance documentation within the designated system of record.

Six years of general experience with telecommunications systems including three years of specialized experience.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education : BS/BA or Equivalent experience

Required Experience : 6+ Years' experience with telecommunications systems including three years of specialized experience

Required Technical Skills : CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance)

Security Clearance Level : Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills

Location: On Customer Site, Washington, District of Columbia

The likely salary range for this position is $105,622 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
