Manufacturing Engineer - Technical Glass Products - Snoqualmie, WA
At our Allegion location in Snoqualmie, WA our Manufacturing Engineer will lead, manage and drive continuous improvements within assigned core process areas of our manufacturing operations.
What You Will Do:
· Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing tools & techniques (workshops, Kanban, visual management, 5S, total productive maintenance, set-up reduction, etc.)
· Use formal problem solving techniques to identify and resolve complex problems.
· Initiate and manage productivity and cost savings projects.
· Implement and maintain process controls through advanced quality planning techniques.
· Support research, evaluation, justification, and recommendation of capital equipment.
· Stay current with state-of-the art technologies and equipment.
· Participate in developing strategic manufacturing processes. Also assist in developing the short and long-range capital planning.
· Prepare and coordinate the implementation schedule for major projects and process changes.
· Develop and maintain process documentation (ie. routings, standard work, work instructions, setup sheets, etc.).
· Analyze proposed engineering changes for manufacturing impact and feasibility.
· Assist Purchasing and Quality Assurance in qualifying suppliers for new product or product changes.
What You Need to Succeed:
· 2+ of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Operations and/or related experience
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)
· Sound engineering and leadership skills
· Demonstrated experience in analyzing and solving complex problems
· Demonstrated experience in Project Management
· Results-driven
· Knowledge and demonstrated skills in Lean Manufacturing
· Self-starter
· Ability to manage multiple projects / assignments simultaneously
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to build strong and sustainable relationships
· Skilled in team building and demonstrated experience in effectively working with cross functional teams to get results
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, and AutoCAD

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experiences.
· The expected Base Salary Range: $72,600 - 128,500. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
