The Potter College of Arts and Letters is pleased to announce we are accepting applications for the position of Administrative Coordinator. The Administrative Coordinator performs a variety of duties that are complex in nature and require a higher level of initiative, accuracy, and judgement to support the effective operation of the department.

Oversee Faculty Load and Compensation process to ensure timely and accurate payment to all fulltime and part-time faculty.

Prepare departmental course scheduling in Banner.

Support Graduate Assistantships by ensuring departmental budget accuracy, assisting with graduate assistantship forms, creating EPAFs and managing the onboarding process.

Supervise building space to include assigning classrooms, assisting with PDC Projects, completing maintenance requests and managing offices and common areas.

Ensure proper function of office and classroom equipment.

Provide administrative support to department chairs and complete special projects as needed.

Communicate clearly and professionally both internally and externally from departments.

Cross-train duties to provide departmental and college support when necessary.

Other duties as assigned.

Additional Duties May include:

Supervise student workers to include hiring, onboarding, scheduling, approving timesheets and overseeing duties.

Provide departmental support for recruiting, retention, and outreach events. Update departmental website and social media with new events and information.

Schedule departmental tours for potential students.

Job Requirements:

Two-year post-secondary education, plus two years related administrative experience OR HS diploma or GED, plus four years administrative experience.

Additional Information:

Hourly Rate: $17.44
