Northrop Grumman's Corporate Office is seeking a Manager Information Technology 2 to join its dynamic team of technical professionals in Linthicum, MD; please note that the selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our Linthicum, MD campus - this is not a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Direct supervision/management of a staff of approximately 5 or more team members.

Interact with internal key program managers and customers on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Provide guidance and oversight to employees to complete key deliverables.

The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial, a self-starter, and be able to challenge the status quo.

Provide innovative solutions that create strategic value to our programs and customers.

The successful candidate must be customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience (with at least 5 of those years focused in Information Technology), or a Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience (with at least 3 of those years focused on Information Technology).

Candidates must have a current DoD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date that was completed within the last 5 years, to be considered; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.

The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment .

Minimum of 2 years IT functional and/or project management experience.

Experience managing in technical program environments.

Experience working on Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, servers, virtualization, and/or Linux servers administration.

General understanding of network topology and data center operations.

Knowledge of network infrastructure.

The ability to work after hours, and weekends, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's Degree in Information Technology or similar STEM related discipline.

Active CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 IAM Level II (or Level III) security certification.

Experience in Information Systems Security Management function related to classified computing environments.

Experience managing geographically diverse technical groups servicing multiple customers.

Experience working on technical activities in a classified environment.

Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
