Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Contract)

Schedule: 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $40.73 - $45.10 per hour

As an Administrator Construction Manager with PDS Tech Commercial, you'll play a critical role in overseeing telecommunications construction projects that bring high-speed connectivity to communities and businesses. Your leadership will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

Oversee Outside Plant (OSP) construction activities performed by contractors.

Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with design specifications and budgets.

Coordinate with local municipalities, utilities, and internal departments.

Conduct pre- and post-project inspections and attend pre-construction meetings.

Manage project schedules, materials, and expenditures.

Maintain accurate records including as-builts, invoices, and timesheets.

Investigate and report plant damage.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Logistics, and Project Management.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of combined OSP construction and splicing experience.

Strong knowledge of OSP construction standards, unit descriptions, and SSP contracts.

Familiarity with permitting, Work Zone Protection (WZP), and Traffic Control Plans (TCP).

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderately heavy objects.

Willingness to work overtime, be on-call, and travel as needed.

Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with state and local permitting agencies.

Background in fiber-optic network deployment.

Familiarity with the JIM process and construction management tools.

Pay Details: $40.73 to $45.10 per hour
