Semiconductor Field Service Engineer

Our client, a globally recognized leader in semiconductor and optoelectronic manufacturing equipment, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of the technical support team, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a mechanical aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Pay Range: $62,000 - $72,000+DOE plus OT and full benefits

What's the Job?

Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Analyze complex system issues and apply engineering principles to implement root-cause solutions.

Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and process integration.

Work closely with OEM and cross-functional engineering teams to support development, documentation, and field escalation resolution.

Interface directly with customer engineers and technicians, acting as the technical expert and liaison.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.

2+ years of experience servicing semiconductors or other high-tech capital equipment or NEW GRAD with internship experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, vacuum, and/or process control systems.

Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Spanish is a plus.
