Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented C-UAS Operations Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team of C-UAS professionals ensuring that the operational aspects of the program
POSITION OVERVIEW
Parsons is seeking a qualified Project Manager to assist with the planning, managing, and coordinating the technical process and operational integrity of a CUAS program. The Operations Project Manager will help manage schedules, meetings, risk, policy compliance, training, workflow, budget, and reporting. Operational planning includes the integration of Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems with strategic partners and complementary security systems across multiple operating locations. The preponderance of work will be conducted within the US. A qualified candidate must have the ability to perform independent work, troubleshoot urgent technical issues, manage geographically separated teams, and develop/execute project plans. They will also support system effectiveness analysis, studies, and evaluations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Develop and implement health and safety policies to ensure a risk-free and safe work environment
Conduct risk assessments to analyze risks and operational hazards
Oversee the hiring, training, and monitoring of technical operations staff
Ensure all CUAS equipment / solutions are operational and efficient
Build and maintain good working relationships with clients and client representatives
Oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures when performing job duties
Provide executive level updates on regional activities and operations
Mentor and motivate a geographically separated technical team to optimize their performance
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures when performing job duties
Conduct annual staff appraisals and assessments to determine staff training needs
Liaise with other departmental heads to plan and implement action plans for improved technical operations
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technical processes, functions and requirements.
Analyze and provide recommendations to support the Integrated Life Cycle Management (ILCM) of various CUAS capabilities employed at Embassies, Consulates, and other areas under the responsibility of the Chief of Mission.
Utilize knowledge of supply chain processes, governing policies, manuals, and instructions for implementation for program milestones.
Perform document generation, review and editing for all supported projects and plans.
Presents information and briefings to senior managers orally and in writing.
Serve as the primary manager to support deployed operations (e.g., temporary relief of deployed managers, manager support for installs, and be prepared to serve as a front line manager to support contingencies)
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor of Science Degree or 10+ years' experience
Experience
Candidate must have 5+ years' experience in personnel management including the ability to manage diverse, multi-functional teams responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions on time and within budget.
Candidate should have logistics management / relevant experience
Experience with effectively and professionally communicating technical and program related information to multiple stakeholders and adherence to established communications plans.
Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in dynamic, politically sensitive environments ensuring customer expectations are managed.
Must have knowledge and experience developing project management plans, communication plans, project budget and schedules, identifying and managing risk.
Must demonstrate experience with the successful planning, development and implementation of projects in terms of cost, schedule and scope.
Training Requirements
PMP Certification or equivalent experience
Minimum IAT level I certification on day one, IAT level II preferred

Candidate will maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills to resolve issues with all stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work within a team and take the initiative to lead when required
Detail focused with the ability to maintain overall perspective on operational and mission scope
Proactive problem solver. Expected to present solutions to identified and / or potential problems
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Full-time 40 hours a week
Travel: Position may require limited travel (i.e.,
Physical requirements can include walking, climbing, crawling through small spaces, and standing or sitting for long periods of time.
Must meet most stringent country medical clearance requirements. Position requires adherence to approved vaccination protocols as determined by location.
Security Clearance Requirement:
A security clearance is not required to apply; however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship, prior to the start date.

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
