Position Overview
'This position is responsible for supporting Government Contract Compliance for select therapeutic area within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. It involves overseeing and approving all government price calculations while ensuring adherence to all applicable policies and procedures related to government contracts. The role requires frequent coordination with Legal and HCC/GCCO teams to maintain compliance with evolving regulatory requirements including the Inflation Reduction Act. Additionally, this position collaborates with the Strategic Customer Group and Pricing business partners, as well as GPA colleagues, to assess the impact of government contracting on commercial strategies and ensure that pricing calculations align with regulatory standards and addition to leading product launch readiness for government channels.
Key Responsibilities :
Government Price Calculations & Compliance: Manage the review, and approval government pricing calculations (actuals and forecast), including Medicaid AMP & BP, Medicare ASP, 340B, FSSNFAMP, and FCP for specific brands. This involves thorough review, data analysis, and interpretation of trends to identify variances and compliance issues.
Commercial Pricing Review and Assessment: Collaborate with Strategic Customer Group, review commercial strategies and analyze government pricing implications. Ensure operational feasibility, shape, and document reasonable assumptions to facilitate compliant and effective solutions. Lead product launch readiness for government channels.
Contract & Business Request Evaluation: Lead assessments of government pricing and contractual compliance impacts related to ad hoc business initiatives, such as voluntary pricing offers (e.g., 340B, VA voluntary prices), Medicaid supplemental agreements, ASP analyses, bundled product offers, and value-based contracts.
Audit & Compliance Support: Support internal audits (SOX, HCC/GCCO) and external reviews (e.g., PWC), ensuring the timely coordination and implementation of management action plans. Ensure work and deliverables align to SOP, WI, and Guidance Documents.
FSS Contract Oversight: Ensure ongoing compliance with government requirements for the FSS contract, including new contract rollouts, adjustments in customer pricing, price reduction triggers, product additions or removals, and tracking procedures.
Process Improvement: Develop, refine, and document processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Treatment Documents and Reasonable Assumptions, aiming to enhance controls, reduce risks, and drive operational efficiencies.
Legislative & Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed of new legislation and regulatory impacting government pricing, and support implementation efforts to maintain compliance.
Communication & Business Enablement: Keep abreast of evolving government pricing policies, communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, and enable informed decision-making within the organization.
Leadership & Culture: Foster a positive, Credo-driven culture that emphasizes integrity, compliance, and teamwork.
Position manages 2 - 4 employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing or Economics
8+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
CPA, CMA or other certifications helpful but not required
Requires excellent Excel skills; understanding of Pharmaceutical supply chain and contracting strongly preferred
Skills required: strong leadership, communications and influencing skills; excellent analytical and organizational skills; experience with compliance, controls and related documentation; Supervisory experience with ability to develop and engage staff.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$100,000-$172,500
