Noblis is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in Reston, VA
As Machine Learning Engineer with our team, you will be working with our federal clients to rapidly develop innovative solutions for their immediate mission challenges. In addition to your work with clients, you'll work with, other machine learning engineers, software developers, data scientists, SMEs, and analysts to design and develop new applications, models, and tools. You will work alongside teams and leads to analyze our clients' challenges and provide solutions by identifying and applying new tools and technologies and developing various @types of applications. Your responsibilities will include data exploration and engineering, programming, modeling, deployments, debugging, and working in a team environment. In this role you will also communicate both written and orally with the team, manager, and clients.
On our team, you will:
Keep up-to-date and apply the latest state of the art technologies and machine learning models
Maintain and utilize off-the-shelf models, as well as train and fine-tune new models
Develop cutting edge solutions to maximize systems performance and scalability
Participate in full lifecycle software engineering deployments
Work in an Agile environment to rapidly iterate with our clients
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Active Top Secret clearance
US Citizenship is required
3-5 years of professional work experience
Experience building production ML systems
Experience with training and testing ML models
Experience with cloud services, containerization, and CI/CD
Understanding of software development practices for creating robust and maintainable systems
Experience with database management
Experience with git and version control workflows
Experience with ML techniques in one or more of the following domains: text, image/video, audio, geospatial, radio frequency (RF)
Required Technologies:
Python
PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn
Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering / Development, or related field(s)
Experience deploying software applications within Kubernetes and/or cloud environments
Experience with storage, processing, and analysis with large scale data
Experience with cyber threat principles
Experience building production data pipelines
Experience with Object-oriented programming in Java, JavaScript, or C++ Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering / Development, or related field(s)

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
