Our client, a dynamic organization, is seeking an Administrative Assistant 1 to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will be part of the administrative support team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the office. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant 1

Location: Lakewood, CA

Pay Range: $22-$23/hr

Shift: M-F, 8am-4:30pm, half hour lunch, flexible hours

What's the Job?

Create purchase orders in JDEdwards, ensuring the proper accounting string is used.

Code invoices accurately and maintain records of all invoices.

Schedule conference rooms and manage any conflicts with room requests.

Maintain all mailroom duties, including sorting and delivering internal mail and packages.

Assist with facility services duties, including contacting vendors and ordering office supplies.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required.

0-2 years of experience in an administrative role preferred.

Proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
