SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Performs processing of applications, reporting and record keeping, maintain collection and legal action files, conducts conveyance activities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Tax Credit Apartment Applications
2 Completes annual reporting for Tax Credit projects, Senior housing, USDA Rural Development Projects
Processes PFD assignment and payback agreements with Tenants and Homebuyers
Prints and verifies accounts receivable reports and ledgers at A/Rs
Serves as the liaison to the software support company for resolution of problems associated with the utilization of accounts receivable module.
Monitors homebuyer/tenant receivable balances and notifies housing management regarding significant variances.
Monitors homebuyer equity accounts; serves as a liaison between the Executive Director, Accounting department, Housing Management department, attorney and homebuyer during conveyance period; ensures that all required steps are accomplished during the conveyance process by maintaining the Conveyance Checklist control.
Oversees collections, including filing small claims and making attorney referrals, represents BBHA in court appearances.
Processes letters to tenants and homebuyers concerning inspections and relaying other pertinent information.
10 Record meetings of monthly Board of Commissioners meetings and transcribe minutes for board action.
Serve as State of Alaska Notary Public.
Alaska Drivers License and insurable to drive BBHA vehicles.
Work with the front desk to cover for lunch/break and then on PTO

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High school degree or GED; preferably post high school education related to position; combination of education and experience may be substituted for education requirements; minimum of one years experience in similar position.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
Indian Preference in Hire under P.L. 93-638
