We have an opening for a full-time RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR position.

Location: JPMC - 270 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, shifts may vary. More details are available upon interview.

Requirement: Prior restaurant experience is preferred.

Pay Rate: $28.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Monitors the food service operation to ensure production of top quality products and service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs inventory management to maintain high valuation and minimal waste.

Ensures that staff is on task, quality assurance standards are being met, and the operation is clean and organized.

Monitors marketing, confirming that signage is current and appropriate.

Upholds policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with company and client expectations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.

The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.

The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
