Job Description

A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant Manager to join their Accounts Payable department. This person will work alongside the current AP Manager to understand and learn the various processes within the AP department, to eventually take over the leadership role entirely. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing 6 team members, delegating roles and responsibilities, and managing questions on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for reconciling and posting bills, working on weekly payments, processing upwards of 2000 invoices/week, and resolving any problems associated with processing invoices. Additionally, you will manage vendor relations and be the front of all communication with vendors, ensuring all invoices are resolved in a timely manner. The established salary for this role is $90-100k, based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

· 3+ years of experience in accounts payable

Posting and reconciling bills

Setting up vendors in an ERP system

Preparing weekly cash forecasts

Managing company card programs and monthly reconciliations of the programs

· Experience supervising/managing others within the AP department

· Experience building relationships with vendors to ensure smooth processes and timely payments · Experience using D365

· Experience using ExFlow for invoice processing

· Experience using ReadSoft (Kofax) for business processes null
