Description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with policies, managing key accounting functions, and supporting company financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee month-end close, ensuring deadlines are met and accuracy in financial reporting.

Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and P& L accounts; ensure proper input into corporate systems.

Manage and maintain the fixed asset system, including annual physical inventory.

Monitor and analyze inventory levels, including work-in-process.

Coordinate sales tax compliance with third-party vendors across multiple states.

Collaborate with operations on project margin reporting and reporting improvements.

Calculate and process commission reports for sales teams and reps.

Lead internal and external audits as needed.

Ensure accounting practices adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Prepare special reports and financial analyses to support decision-making.

Maintain confidentiality of financial data and protect organizational value.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

BA in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance

7 plus years of experience in an accounting role, including leadership
