Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 3) to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama .

The selected candidate will oversee the review and implementation of employee suggestions (Voice of the Technician - VoT) and review/analyze production yield data to identify and eliminate high-impact systemic issues, translating data into actionable implementation plans.

Position Responsibilities:

Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.

Provide advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects that affect organization efficiency.

Apply process management and process improvement techniques to resolve production concerns.

Uses problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills to develop innovative solutions to manufacturing problems.

Gathers data, conducts analyses, and develops recommendations for implementation of new systems and processes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

More than 2 years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and managing projects

More than 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

More than 2 years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

More than 2 years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

More than 2 years of experience using strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher

Experience implementing Lean methodologies and productivity improvements

Experience with project management

Experience facilitating work teams, provides necessary training, and leads problem resolution and process improvement.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $79,050 - $97,650
